If you need information about berry pruning, it is important to know what the name of the variety of berry is that you bought, because the pruning treatments can be very different depending on whether the are primocane-bearing (bearing on the current year’s growth), or floricane-bearing (bearing on “canes”, or thick stems, that grew the previous summer season.
